Example: a reference note on page two
A note such as "Reference: INV-1042" is added as new text on the chosen PDF page. The original page content remains underneath. This suits short references and annotations on an existing document.
Positions use PDF points, with 72 points per inch and the origin at the bottom-left of the page. A position outside the page boundary can make the added text invisible. The source PDF is retained separately from the edited download.
Annotations are not text replacement
This editor adds a text annotation; it does not rewrite existing paragraphs, remove underlying words, or provide image, shape, and freehand drawing controls. Existing text changes are best made in the original source document before exporting another PDF.
Adding text over sensitive information is not redaction. Underlying content can remain readable or extractable. Standard PDF font support can also limit the characters available for the new annotation.
